Detailed Description

Provides detailed reporting of unexpected errors within Visual Basic applications and components. All errors are simultaneously logged to the NT Event log (if running on NT/2000/XP), to an XML file, and output to the Windows debug output.

By using a debug viewer, such as DebugView from Sysinternals, application errors can be viewed in real-time within the LAN. This is ideal for production level debugging of n-tier applications.

The information logged includes the following:

Error Number
Error Source (including the complete call stack)
Error Description
Application EXE/DLL Name
Module Name
Routine Name
App Path

and optionally, the following information can also be provided through optional parameters:

Log Path (To specify where the error file will be logged to)
App Name
Error Line
Error Info (User Defined Error Information)
Raise Error (Boolean, should the error be raised to the caller?)
